With an MSc. in Mechanical Engineering, I worked 8 years at CERN designing and building the next generation of particle detectors alongside top European engineers and physicists. Having experienced in first hand during my work there the need for dependable and swift machining partners in industry, I started CNC Proto, a European manufacturing business headquartered in Portugal with the goal of producing in a timely manner the highest quality machined parts for our customers. Since its inception, CNC Proto has focused on serving the European market with short turnaround times, having more than 90% of its annual turnover coming from customers abroad.

With machines ranging from manual lathes and milling machines to state-of-the-art CNC machining and turning centers, CNC Proto has specialised in processing non-ferrous metals (mostly 6000 and 7000 series aluminium alloys) and engineering plastics.
