Data Protection

We respect the privacy of visitors to this website. When visiting the cnc-proto.eu website, you do not have to provide any personal information in order to take note of the information contained in it.

If however you contact us or use the quote request form on the website, the information you send to us is then treated confidentially and kept as long as is necessary according to the nature of your question, comment or request for the complete answer and settlement thereof.

If you place an order with us, after its processing, your contact details and uploaded files will be stored in our customer database for later orders. You are entitled at all times to request insight into them, rectification of and/or deletion of your details. In that case please contact us.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies.

Analytics

While we previously had used Google Analytics on our website, we have never looked at results. At the time cnc-proto.eu was launched, this was the tool of choice and it was de-facto standard to have it in.

However we realized we do not care about that data and found it irrelevant for our mission.

The moral of the story is:

Just because you can get data it does not mean you should.

Our new pages include no analytics tools at all and no tracking technologies. By default, as most web servers do, the server on which this website is stored does log visits. Within the web server logs, the following information is recorded:

  • Your public IP address;
  • The date and time of your visit;
  • Page(s) you visited.

Third Parties

This website is hosted by Webhs, a Portuguese hosting company. In addition, if you choose to use the quote request form available on this website, you acknowledge that the data you enter will be handled by Cognito Forms before it is relayed to us. If you do not agree with this, please send us your quote request directly using email.

With the exceptions above, your data is not made available to third parties unless it is unavoidable due to the nature of the communication medium (e.g. our emails are handled by Google Workspace), for order processing (e.g. our invoices are processed using the software provided by Moloni) or taxation purposes.
